How we handle personal data on this website and in the apps we publish.
Who we are
DS Maker LTD, a private limited company registered in Cyprus under number HE 465492, VAT CY60100946O, with registered office at Efesou 9, 5280 Paralimni, Famagusta, Cyprus. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at daniel@dsmaker.com.
This website
This site sets no cookies and asks you for nothing. We count visits with our own self hosted analytics, which records the page, the referrer, the country and the type of device, all in aggregate. It does not store an identifier for you and we cannot single you out from it.
Our apps
We publish iPhone apps on the App Store under the developer name DSMaker. Our published app is ByeByeAcne, an AI food scanner.
Depending on the features you use, the app may collect health and fitness data, location, contact information, content you create in the app, usage data and sensitive information, and may link it to your account. It may also collect device identifiers and diagnostics that are not linked to you. This is the same disclosure that appears under App Privacy on the app's App Store page. The data is used to make the app work, to keep your content across your devices, to fix crashes and to improve the product. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never see your card details. We receive from Apple the sales and subscription reports needed to run the business.
You can delete your data by deleting your account from inside the app, or by writing to us.
Legal basis and sharing
We process personal data to perform the contract with you (providing the app you installed), for our legitimate interest in keeping the products secure and working, and where the law requires it. We share data only with the service providers that make the products run, such as Apple for distribution and payments and our hosting and analytics infrastructure, and only to the extent they need it. We do not sell personal data.
Keeping it and your rights
We keep personal data for as long as your account exists, and accounting records for as long as Cyprus law requires. Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, take it elsewhere, or object to how we use it. Write to daniel@dsmaker.com and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus.

If this policy changes we update this page and the date above.
